We started out our travels in Sept. by heading to Southern Utah for the Red Rock Relay. My dad had a team and was in van 1. Ben organized van 2. Team members included: Kristen (Ben's sister), McKay and Tanner (nephews), Jarrod (Ben's cousin). You usually have 6 people per van but they only ended up with 5 which meant more mileage for everyone. They all ended up running 20+ miles. Ouch! The race started at Brianhead (my old stomping grounds) and ended in Springdale (by Zions). After the start, we headed to Cedar Breaks for a scenic look at Utah's beauty. The kids and I hung out in Hurricane at Kristen's house with the cousins while everyone did the race. They all had a great time and were pretty tired after it was all over. Good job to the Kenyan National Team! (and yes, they were all white...my dad has used that team name for years)
