We started out our Easter festivities by coloring some Easter eggs. We colored them and then rolled them in glitter, of course to make them sparkly. All I can say is....our poor boy is going to be outnumbered by all the girly things taking place around here! Then for some crazy reason we decided to brave the cold and the chaos at Barnes Park for the annual Easter egg hunt. We do it every year....I'm not sure why. It lasts about 30 seconds and all the eggs are gone. The girls were a little disappointed because they didn't get very many eggs. What's an event without a little crying from my dramatic girls. On Easter morning the girls woke up and found the Easter bunny had hidden lots of eggs around the house. They each got a ton so I think they forgot all about the park experience. The Easter bunny even left them a little surprise in their baskets. The favorite being the sunglasses which they are sporting in the pics above. We ended the weekend with a fun party at my Aunt Marilyn's house. She always makes things so fun for the kids. A successful Easter 2010!
